Become involved in your community!

Business & Professional Women of Nevada County is participating in several
local projects to benefit our community and help make Nevada County a better place to live and work. Our well know scholarship program for women age 25 and older returning to school and our new leadership / mentoring program touches the lives of many women in our County. We also support many local women’s events that happen from time to tome within our community.

Objectives

• To promote personal and professional development for working women.
• To advocate on National, State, and Local legislative issues of importance to working women.
• To support the California Commission on the Status of Women.
• To promote the education of our members and the community in matters of women’s equality as it relates to economics, employment, health, education, housing, civil rights, and other issues of equal opportunity.
